FOXO4-DRI 10mg

FOXO4-DRI (Retro-Inverso) is a synthetic, modified peptide derived from the FOXO4 transcription factor. The retro-inverso design (D-amino acids arranged in reverse sequence) dramatically increases stability and extends its biological half-life, enabling more effective interaction with cellular targets.

Its primary mechanism involves competitively blocking the natural binding between FOXO4 and the tumor suppressor protein p53. In normal aging tissues, FOXO4 helps retain p53 in the nucleus of senescent cells, preventing them from undergoing apoptosis. By disrupting this FOXO4–p53 interaction, FOXO4-DRI releases p53’s apoptotic signaling pathway, allowing damaged and dysfunctional senescent “zombie” cells to be selectively cleared.

Removal of these senescent cells has been shown in research models to:
